Bathroom Renovations Maitland

How Our Bathroom Referral Works

We pass Maitland householders' requests to independent renovators. Nobody on this site renovates a bathroom.

Step one: describe the room

Give a name, a phone number, your suburb and a few lines about what you want. The most useful details are the age of the house, the size of the room, whether the toilet or shower must move and whether anyone needs a step-free shower. A short note about any known leaks helps too.

Step two: renovators decide

Your request goes to independent renovators who say they work in your area. Each chooses for itself whether to reply, and each is responsible for its own prices, licences, insurance and workmanship. We cannot promise that a business will be free in your suburb or reply by a set time.

Step three: you choose

Nothing is owed for sending the form. Talk to one business, several or none. Use our NSW checklist when you do: ask for the licence details, a written scope, what is excluded, the deposit, the progress payments and the warranty.

What happens to your details

They go only to businesses that may quote on the work. The privacy page lists what we collect and how to ask us to delete it.

Thresholds worth knowing before the first call

Under NSW rules, a written contract is needed over $5,000, a deposit is limited to 10 percent and a contract over $20,000 comes with home building compensation cover. Knowing those lines lets you spot a quote that does not follow them.

Photos that help

Photograph the room from the doorway, the shower, the floor and the ceiling. Note any stains, soft spots, mould or cracked tiles, and say what must stay as it is. A rough budget helps each business quote on the same basis.

After you choose a business

The contract is between you and that business. Check the licence in the NSW online check, look up any HBC certificate on the HBC Check, and read the contract before signing. We are not a party to it.

Before you say yes

A bathroom job in New South Wales over a set value needs a written contract and a licence details on it. Read the contract before you sign, ask for the licence details and check it yourself on the NSW Government licence check. Keep a copy of every variation.

If nobody replies

Some suburbs have few businesses available and a bathroom specialist may be booked out. If nobody replies, add more detail and try again, or widen the kind of work you will consider. We cannot make a business respond, and we do not promise that any will.

Keeping your own records

Save every message, quote, photo and receipt in one folder. A clear paper trail is the best protection if you and a business later disagree about what was agreed, and it takes only a few minutes each week.

Request a quote

We collect these details to refer your enquiry to a local bathroom renovations business. If you don't give them, we can't refer you. Your details may be stored by our hosting and service providers in Australia or overseas, including the United States. Our Privacy Policy explains how to access or correct your information and how to make a complaint.

Free. No obligation. Takes about a minute. This is a quote-matching service, not the business that does the work.
